Technical reviewer

Jonathan Seals

Founder of TrueShield Auto Glass and technical reviewer for Louisiana Auto Glass Guide.

Professional background

Jonathan Seals brings 20+ years of auto-glass experience to the publication’s technical review. Raised in an auto-glass family, he began working full-time in the trade at a young age and developed experience in the field as well as across the operational side of the business.

By age 23, Jonathan had advanced into management of one of the Southeast’s largest auto-glass operations at the time, overseeing approximately 55–75 automotive-glass jobs per day. That scale meant coordinating technicians, dispatch, scheduling, parts identification and availability, insurance work, quality control, and dozens of vehicles moving through the operation each day.

His professional development also included corporate and regional leadership experience with Auto Glass Now and Discount Auto Glass, as well as training and work alongside technicians and operators within leading national auto-glass organizations, including Safelite AutoGlass. Together, those experiences exposed him to family-owned glass work, hands-on installation, high-volume operational management, and national-scale processes.

Role at this publication

Jonathan reviews practical auto-glass, replacement-planning, and ADAS-related context for clarity and real-world relevance. His perspective combines field craftsmanship with the systems required to deliver reliable work at volume. He does not replace the sources that govern a particular vehicle, claim, or repair: applicable laws, insurer documentation, and the vehicle manufacturer’s published procedures remain controlling.
